Excellent holiday park and one we keep coming back to!

We have been coming to Hazelwood Holiday park on a regular basis over the past 20 years. Initially we came with our 3 children, but now me and my husband come by ourselves. It is in a great location being only about a 5 minute walk to Dawlish Warren beach and its attractions. The park is quiet and has excellent parking facilities. The accommodation is clean and always has plenty of hot water. Very pleasant staff in the Reception area so that if you do have any issue, it is sorted immediately. We love the area as it has so much to offer and even after all these years we still come across something new we haven’t seen or done before. Beautiful coastal scenery, great shopping at Exeter with its pretty Quay, NT places, boat trips from Torquay and lovely sandy beaches, pretty villages, Topsham being one of many. It’s a great base for a holiday and we would definitely recommend it!

  Another great holiday

Booked 3 chalets between 12th & 19th July with my wife & son in one chalet, my daughter and her family in one and my best friend, his wife and dog in another. I have been coming here for the last 14 years running (I think) and the rest of my party for the last few years. We always enjoy our stay and find the facilities and the area meet exactly to our expectations to make it a great weeks holiday. Dawlish Warren and Hazelwood Holiday Park is a quiet location which is what we want from our holiday. Personally I do not think there is another holiday park in the UK that offers the value for money that Hazelwood Holiday Park offer.

  Lovely little surprise

This little site is fantastic! We are a family of 4 and our dog, myself my partner our 12 year old and our 4 year old. We have previously stayed in the site opposite, this year it was booked up so we took a gamble on Hazelwood and it payed off. We booked a 2 bed lodge with a hot tub. The outside pool was great. The pool parties on a Sunday were great fun, the children loved it! The club house has a lovely friendly atmosphere, the bar is well stocked and the bar staff always on hand. Matt the entertainment guy was just brilliant our children absolutely loved going down to ‘the disco’ Matt made sure every child was involved. The bingo was a good craic and even won a couple of times!

Dawlish Warren is such a good resort but we already knew this as we have stayed here before. It is a fantastic base to visit the nearby towns such as Brixham, Torquay and Exmouth. If you are visiting with a four legged friend, the hill you can see from the site is a lovely walk which can be accessed by Shutterton lane. This little site is a little gem, so good we have even booked for 2 weeks next year!
