People playing Jazz instruments

It’s Teignmouth Jazz and Blues thirty year anniversary and this year the festival aims to get us dancing on the streets as well as staging acts in the familiar local venues. On a mission to popularise jazz and blues the range of music will include the wider jazz and blues genre so expect some soul, funk and R&B, jump jive and even Afro-beat on the menu. British Jazz is booming at the moment and there are some exciting prospects including some of the superb young emerging bands and more singers. Watch out for some big names amidst the music, with buskers and bunting brightening up the town.
